Of course he rivers a straight. Here is his explaination via email:

''there ain't no rhyme or reason, logic, or expertise when you feel a hand. There are gamblers that do just that and I hope you accept my apology for beating the odds this time. Perhaps we will travel this road again shortly and the outcome would be in your favor, but until this time I will revere in the gist of a friendly Friday night's game in my favor............''

Now, in spite of completely misusing both ''revere'' and ''gist'' I think I know what he meant. Allow me to paraphrase:

''I am horrible. Sometimes I get lucky. I don't understand big words.''

I have been on the radio a lot recently. However, I believe my greatest moment came during a call-in while Tom Myers was on the Mickey and Amelia show.
